Cultural Awareness and Diversity Inclusion

Cultural Diversity Awareness and Inclusion

Let’s move past basic awareness of other cultures and life experiences and into a greater openness by embracing the perspectives of others. We have a diverse population and need to create an organizational culture that is welcoming and accepting regardless of ethnicity, culture, religion or sexual orientation.

What you will learn:
1) Participants will more deeply consider his/her own life experiences and the perspectives of others.
2) Participants will deepen his/her understanding of how known/unknown personal biases affect how we interact with those who have had different life experiences, points of view, and ethnic backgrounds.
3) Participants will learn that individuals have varying support needs to achieve success (equitable access).
